While I do not believe technology should take the place of instruction, I believe use of technology is increasingly relevant in today's classroom as a means to extend and enhance instruction and improve engagement. Below are some samples of my education related projects:

Documenting and Sharing Action Research - My Digital Life
This animation was a simple project to explain how digital media and tools affect my life.

Flipped Instruction (voiced by Kimberly Creswell) - Digital Discourse
The goal of this project was to create a lesson on digital discourse that could be used in a flipped classroom format. Ideally students would have access from home to view the video for instruction and classroom time would then be project time.

Digital Presentations - Technology for Teachers Poster
A visual diagram and explanation of the variety of technological tools available for teachers in today's classrooms.

Instructional Design in Virtual Classrooms - Habitats & Adaptations
This presentation was a 3rd Grade NGSS aligned science lesson delivered via Blackboard Webinar. The lesson includes interactive activities and multi-modal presentation of content.

Digital Writing - Greyhounds
Glogster was used in my classroom to give students a more authentic medium for their feature articles. This article was the example article I used to teach the students about the Glogster app.
